On the 2nd and 3rd of April 2020 the Leprosy Research Initiative (LRI) is organising its fifth annual Spring Meeting at Van der Valk Hotel Breukelen in the Netherlands. During this meeting, the progress and results of currently ongoing LRI funded research projects will be presented to the LRI Scientific Review Committee, the LRI Steering Committee and representatives from all funded research groups. For the third time the principal investigators of R2STOP funded research projects will join the meeting as well and share their research findings. The meeting also offers great opportunities to meet with and learn from fellow researchers and stimulates participants to engage in lively discussions, and to share ideas between researchers, funders and other stakeholders.
For the first time, the LRI has opened this meeting for external participants - persons with a keen interest in leprosy research who wish to attend but are not otherwise invited.
Costs to attend the LRI Spring Meeting as an external participant are as follows:
- Meeting package (incl two lunches, coffee/tea breaks and a joint dinner on April 2) €170.
- Accommodation costs at the meeting venue (including breakfast) - approximately €140 per night. Other meals outside the meeting package are not included.
Seats are very lmited, and if you are interested to join the meeting, please complete an application form by February 25th latest, via this link. When we have received your application form and sufficient seats are available you will receive a link to complete the actual registration form. Application forms that are received after February 25th will still be considered but we will not be able to facilitate a hotel reservation for late applications.
Registration costs need to be paid in advance to the LRI. You will receive instructions on how to make the payment upon registration.
The meeting programme starts on Thursday at 9:30 hours and closes at 17:00 hours on April 3rd. The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. It will take around 1 hour by train to reach the hotel.
